Write a Book 2009 - 22-May-2009

Navan Education Centre held a very successful second ‘Write a Poem’ project ceremony in the Navan Education Centre on Thursday 21 May 2009.. Approximately 775 primary school pupils from 14 schools in Counties Meath and Louth created their own poems on the theme of ‘Nature in Poetry’ and the prizewinning poems were published in a beautifully produced full colour poetry book.

The famous children’s author Terry Hassett-Henry presented the prize winners with a certificate and a copy of the book at the ceremony and congratulated the newly published poets on having their poems published. The pupils produced wonderful work which is a joy to read.
