Certificate Course for Special Needs Assistants 2009 - 2010 - Late Applications - 28-May-2009
In relation to the above course, a limited number of places is still available for 2009 – 2010 academic year at the Navan Education Centre venue only.
The Church of Ireland College of Education is now inviting late applications in order to fill the remaining places and will accepted these up to 5.00 pm on Friday 12th June 2009.
As before, the course will be of 60 hours duration and places will be limited to 25 persons.
Applications are limited to those special needs assistants who have satisfactorily completed the 20 hour introductory programme delivered through the network of education centres. A copy of the certificate awarded on completion of the relevant Introductory Course for Special Needs Assistants must accompany any application made for the Certificate Course.
Applicants must be currently employed as special needs assistants in mainstream primary or post-primary schools or in special schools.
All applications must be made using the appropriate form, a copy of which accompanies this notice. Application forms may be photocopied as required. Additional copies can be downloaded from the following websites: www.cice.ie, www.sess.ie or from the website of the education centre from which this notice was forwarded.
