Presenting a very special in-school workshop for students brought to you in partnership with the Yeats society of Ireland

Beginning on December 1st, 10am

January 19th, 10am

February 16th, 10am

 

These three talks will be designed for Year 5/6 students and will bring them into the world of WB Yeats and his family, as well as introducing some poetry and myths and legends that Yeats gathered.

Bio: Susan O ‘Keeffe, a journalist by profession and former senator, has been Director at the Yeats society of Ireland since 2017.  She is passionate about sharing the life of Ireland’s national poet and his talented and interesting family.  The aim of the Yeats society is to create a cultural hearth for all who are interested in the life and work of WB Yeats and Irish literature and culture.
