SP25-43 Play in Senior Classes

Date: April 2nd
Time: 7:00 pm
For older children, play remains a vital part of development, offering a space to explore complex emotions, build critical thinking skills and foster creativity. Including play in teaching and learning for senior classes helps older children to navigate social dynamics, teamwork and problem-solving. It encourages independence, self-expression and resilience. Play can help all children to access the curriculum by providing opportunities for learning, social interaction, creativity and enjoyment through, as the new curriculum states, playful and engaging activities. Play should be included every day, in all classrooms, for all children.
