In this webinar, Claire will explore the modes of Cultural Context and General Vision and Viewpoint using the texts ‘Small Things Like These’, ‘Sive’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. Focus will be on:

• Introductory lessons for students
• Studying the texts in class 
• Studying key moments 
• Advice on past exam questions 
• Structuring responses 
• Notes on all texts as well as sample answers

Claire Cotter is an English and history teacher in Christian Brothers College, Cork where she also works as the school’s AEN Coordinator. She runs the website mscottersclass.com where she shares notes for English and history teachers.
