Bio of Presenter :

Aileen Robb is a Biology and Science teacher with 15 years of classroom experience. She teaches Leaving Certificate Biology and has worked across a range of school settings. She focuses on assessment, clear instruction, and improving student outcomes.

Aileen worked with the NCCA on Junior Cycle Science assessment and contributed classroom based exemplars to national supports on curriculum.ie.  This work shaped her approach to assessment design and classroom practice.  She has experience in curriculum development through her work with Homeschool.ie, where she designed and delivered science courses and created assessment materials. She also develops resources and mock examinations to support learning.                                                                         

Aileen works as a tutor with Hibernia College, supporting student teachers in their professional development. Her work centres on improving performance through clear structure, effective feedback, and practical strategies. She has a strong interest in assessment design and the use of AI in education.
