The role of the teacher has been found to be paramount to children and young people’s well-being (OCED, 2017).
This webinar will explore the importance of the relationship between the teacher and child in well-being promotion and development. It will focus on the role of the teacher, and the importance of building resilience to cope with challenges and to adapt to change.
Presenter: Nicola Culloty
Nicola Culloty is a primary school teacher with twenty years experience working with parents and children. As Home School Community Liaison she formed an authentic and lasting partnership with parents.
Nicola completed a Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2019. She has since completed a Diploma in Traumatology and PTSD and further Dipolma in coaching. Nicola provides training and workshops to many schools, organisations and govement agencies over the past number of years. She has worked closely with NALA, Mary Immaculate college of Education, TUSLA, the Institute of Guidance Counsellers, European School Varese, ESCI and many more.
