Bio of Presenter: Kieran Mackle
Kieran Mackle is a primary mathematics specialist, teacher, and author dedicated to deepening teachers’ understanding of mathematics and providing all pupils with the opportunity to be successful with mathematics.
Across 17 years in the classroom, Kieran developed extensive expertise in early mathematics pedagogy and curriculum design, authoring influential books such as Tackling Misconceptions in Primary Mathematics and Thinking Deeply about Primary Mathematics.
Kieran empowers teachers to develop and apply effective mathematics teaching strategies rooted in evidence-informed practice. He is passionate about unlocking the mathematical wonder and curiosity which can help all pupils to build strong mathematical foundations and a lifelong love of mathematics.
In his spare time he hosts the weekly education podcast, Thinking Deeply about Primary Education.
