‘Integrated STEM learning enables children to connect their learning across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics…opportunities where they [children] can apply, reinforce and consolidate the knowledge and skills they have acquired from their learning.’

In this webinar, participants will explore what Integrated STEM looks like in the classroom as they will be introduced to the STEM lesson checklist and will be able to analyse what an effective STEM is. A range of STEM lesson ideas and STEM challenges for all class levels will be shared.

2. Discover the STEM lesson checklist
3. Analyse STEM lessons
4. Discover a range of STEM challenges for different class levels.

Presenter: Orla Keane 

Orla Keane is a Primary School Teacher in a DEIS Band 1 School in Clare with AP experience in STEM and Numeracy. In 2021 she completed a Master of Arts in STEM Education and subsequently started the Instagram page @primaryschoolSTEM. Orla is passionate about simplifying STEM and showing teachers how effective it can be in nurturing children's 21st century skills.
