patrick hickey

Patrick Hickey is a current post-primary History and English teacher, and is dedicated to the integration of Artificial Intelligence into the Irish educational landscape.

Known for his pragmatic and effective teaching methods, Patrick has gained attention from significant Irish media outlets such as RTÉ, TV3's 'Tonight Show,' and Newstalk Radio, particularly concerning the role of AI in education.

Patrick not only believes that AI can substantially benefit teaching staff in administrative roles, like year heads, principals, and deputy principals, but he also advocates its potential to enhance both teacher efficiency and student engagement. His goal is to leverage AI for improved time management and a more balanced work-life experience for all educational stakeholders.
