Literacy provision mapping- Planning literacy interventions at the three levels of support.   

Identifying students with literacy difficulties through the school assessment process and placing them on the provision plan. Monitoring student progress.

Bio of presenter: Dee Keane

Dee has been a Post Primary teacher for 13 years, with 10 of those years spent working in a SET role. Dee qualified as a Home Economics and Religious Education teacher and followed this with a Master of Arts in Professional Studies in SEN from St. Angela's College. As a passionate, lifelong reader Dee focused her Master’s research on group reading interventions in a DEIS post primary setting. From there she has continued to upskill in vast area of literacy. Dee has created the popular Instagram page @post_primary_resource_teacher this academic year which shares ideas, strategies and resources for teachers in a SET role.
