This series of webinars will provide an introduction to standardised testing and an understanding of standard scores, as well as training in administration, scoring and interpretation of standardised tests.
This training will be provided online by two experienced Educational Psychologists over 4 1 hours sessions.
These webinars will focus on theoretical underpinnings and administration of standardised test and more applied aspects of testing including:
- The purpose of testing
- What a standardised test is
- Recognising different types of standardised tests
- Understanding various types of standard scores
- The Normal distribution
- The importance of Error in the test situation
- Basic principles of Test Administration
- Calculation of ages for the purposes of testing
- Conversion of raw scores to Standard scores
- How to examine a test and its’ suitability for a user
- AEN categories and the link to test results
- Interpretation of profiles
