Date: Wednesday, 1st October 2025
Time: 7 - 8.00 pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
Target Audience: Online Primary
This is an online presentation delivered as part of the IPPEA Learning Community on Inclusion. The aim of the workshop is to support primary teachers further with inclusive strategies in their Physical Education (PE) lessons in the context of teaching movement competence to children, one of the most common challenges reported by teachers in Europe including Ireland in PE lessons (Marron et al, 2023). The presentation will define wellbeing in the context of the Primary Curriculum Framework for Primary and Special Schools (NCCA, 2023). It intends to assist teachers on the pathway to diversity in their PE lessons. It will examine factors influencing skill development and offer some supports and resources. There will be an opportunity for Q& A at the conclusion.
